My way to practice sport has always been largely guided by challenges, personal records and geography. It was this playful approach to physical activity that made me want to climb Mont Ventoux by mountain bike at the age of 10, to ride around it (120 km) at 15 or to run a half-marathon at 14.
Here are some challenges accomplished:
- « Cinglé du Ventoux » in 5:30 (ascent of Mont Ventoux, the most difficult cycling climb in France, 3 times by the 3 routes in the same day)
- Round trip crossing of the Agriates Desert on a trail (82 km without ever having exceeded the marathon distance before)
- Round trip crossing of Corsica (410 km in 11:45)
In the short term, I have lots of ideas, especially in the Southern Alps…
