So to begin to talk about this vast theme, I thought it would be fun to share my last blood test made a week after IRONMAN Lanzarote. And so to demystify certain beliefs as you will see for yourself below.
Two « abnormalities »: slight total cholesterol deficiency (apparently not a problem for an endurance athlete) and excess vitamin D (necessarily, after spending a week in the 29th parallel).
PS: on the last column is a comparison with an analysis done in the same lab in December 2017 at the opposite time of the weather season and competitively speaking, and values are similar.
